Prayer flags have been around for over a thousand years. It is thought that when you hang prayer flags, the wind carries the blessings across the Universe and into the heavens.

About the event
We will begin this class with a brief meditation which will help us settle into our bodies and get in tune with our intentions. Then, I will explain a little about the history of prayer flags.
This class will be fun, creative, and spiritual. You will create your own prayer flag with the blessings/intentions that resonate with you. You may want to paint your prayer flag or layer different fabrics and place pretty and unique embellishments on your flag.
All supplies are provided. We will have paints, fabrics, colored pens, embellishments, glue, thread and needles, papers, strings, etc. You can make it as simple or complex as you desire.
The photo I used in the title description is a prayer flag I created a number of years ago. It is a simple version and I used one of my favorites quotes as my intention. I just love it.
