About the event
Approximately 100 million people practice Tai Chi and Qigong in China daily. While the exact origins of these practices are unknown, scholars estimate that methods of meditative exercise were prevalent in China several thousand years ago. These practices have been used to explore the essence of life and it increase vitality, longevity, and inner peace. The intent of the ancient practice is to cultivate a state of "maximized vitality" known as the Tai Chi state or Qigong state. This is the state in which the human body, mind, and spirit is "in the flow" or functioning with the least inner physical, mental or emotional restraint.
In Tai Chi Easy, this state fosters and supports the capacity for self-healing, disease prevention, personal growth, intuitive insight and clarity of purpose.
This practice promotes stress relief, balance, heart health, immune boost, mental focus, healthy digestion, recovery of well-being, increased vitality and more.
Class Agenda: Gentle Movement, Breathing Practices, Meditation are expressed in this 45 minute class. The approach is simple and easy for all levels, including beginners, seniors, and children. Chairs are available for a more supportive practice.
Every Tuesday starting at 12:15pm until 1:00pm. All are welcome. It's called Tai Chi Easy for a reason and the benefits are plenty. Dress comfy and soft sole shoes are preferred. This helps with balance. See you soon.
